Another example of RBT Services commitment to meet customers' needs is our specially designed conveyor built to load cocoa beans. Our customer needed to gently load cocoa beans from burlap sacks to railcar, open top trucks, and covered hopper trucks. RBT Services has designed two styles of conveyors to meet this challenge.
First is our standard model 2450 with several modifications to allow the gentle handling of the high volume product the customer required.
The second machine was a new design. We call it the cocoa bean II conveyor. This conveyor extends 40' inside a closed van trailer and splash loads cocoa beans at a rate of 100 TPH. This machine also elevates high enough to reach and load rail cars and pneumatic style trucks.
Both machines are self-propelled, raise and lower hydraulically and have large debagging hoppers built on the unit to allow operators to slit and dump the burlap sacks. Both machines are of stainless steel construction with a white food grade belt. These units are available with either electric or diesel power.
